Some people may wonder why a Canadian like myself may be so concerned about American politics because I can't vote anyway, and why do I care since I live in a country where our health care system (although many problems in ours that need fixing, but it's better then many other countries) gives me the help I need, usually just a phone call away.
First we are North American, so anything that concerns our Continent concerns me, second health care is not just a U.S. citizens problem, it's a human nature problem. They are not the only country that suffers from a very poor health care system, but the fact they are the richest and the superpower and our neighbour, what happens to them, speaks volumes for us as just being a society who claims we care for the human race in need of help.
Leeland Eisenberg needed help, he cried for help, asked for help, tried to help himself but because of where he lives, not unlike any underprivileged person in a third world country, he was a product of his environment and now the only help he will receive, not unlike many others in the U.S. is behind bars.
Will the future President, hopefully one of these Democrats, finally give these people the stability they need?
I suppose time will tell,
Except for these Citizens, they're in a race against time,
Not just a Race.
